Chicago Andrea Creative is a company started by me, Andrea (Plecko) Kinnear: photographer, aesthetically obsessed, creative human and lifelong Chicagoan.

Finally finding a way to string together my love for visual creativity and capturing life’s perfect and beautifully imperfect moments, this company was born.

I believe the ability to make people feel comfortable in front of my lens has truly helped me to connect with my clients over the years, and maintain our long relationships. Keeping things natural, relaxed and fun for everyone is what results in priceless photographs I know you will cherish for a lifetime.

While photographing couples, families and children has become my main focus, I love to work with business professionals, brands, and bloggers as well! I’m also good for that updated headshot you’ve been telling yourself to get.

About Andrea:

When I was seven, mom says she kept asking me to finish the last few photos on my disposable camera so she could take it to get developed. When weeks had gone by and I hadn’t she asked “why?”. I told her that if she took it to get developed I wouldn’t have my very own camera anymore. I’ve loved photography for a long time.

I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living sometimes!

I lived in Chicago for 15+ years while attending DePaul University, earning my BA in Advertising/PR, then photography school. Flash forward about 10 years, my husband and I moved back to my hometown in the near-Chicago Suburbs. It looks like we’re staying put (for now), with our puppy - Winnie, the weimaraner.
